HARD Day Of The Dead’s epic 2014 line-up announced

After blitzing California with HARD Summer earlier this month, the Destructo-led party flagship has now dropped the 2014 HARD Day Of The Dead line-up. Needless to say, it’s a monster – behold the full thing below.

The headliners alone are all-killer, from HARD favorites Knife Party, Pretty Lights and Diplo on day one to Calvin Harris, Zedd and Bassnectar the next night.

Then there’s the added bonus of the dream team Deadmau5 versus Eric Prydz on Saturday, in a festival-scale repeat of the magic they brought to Miami this March. As ever, HARD’s undercard runs deep too, with Jamie Jones, Zeds Dead, Galantis, Booka Shade, Claude VonStroke and so many more holding it down.

Australia’s well-repped too. Homegrown names Motez, Anna Lunoe, Nina Las Vegas, Just A Gent, Thomas Jack and Kaz James are all locked in for sets over Day of the Dead’s two days.

Day of the Dead (DOTD) is returning for its third year on November 1 and 2, and it’s happening this time around at Fairplex, formerly known as the Los Angeles County Fairgrounds. Behold the full bill below.

As TomorrowWorld prepares to kick-off its second edition this September, one of the most anticipated music festival experiences in the country unveils the theme, “The Arising of Life,” alongside the Official 2014 TomorrowWorld trailer. Known for attention to detail and creating magical surroundings, this year’s TomorrowWorld journey of mystical landscapes and stages is no exception. Transforming 500 acres of natural rolling hills in Chattahoochee Hills (Atlanta), Georgia this September 26th, 27th and 28th, TomorrowWorld will create a breathtaking dream world featuring several impressive stage structures and a grandiose Main Stage highlighting the best electronic artists in the world.

This year’s breathtaking Main Stage spans over 400 feet wide and 100 feet tall. Known as the “Volcano Stage,” the computerized, pyrotechnic structure is equipped with multiple waterfalls and a magical volcano that will erupt throughout the three-day event. To create this beautiful and massive site, over 80 shipping containers traveled nearly 6,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean from Belgium to Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia. “The Arising of Life” was experienced at Tomorrowland 2013 by over 180,000 attendees and an additional 16 million viewers tuned in online to witness the Madness.

The impressive roster of talent headlining this year’s Main Stage includes huge acts such as Avicii, Bassnectar, David Guetta, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, Diplo, Kaskade, Martin Garrix, Nicky Romero, Skrillex, Steve Aoki, Tiësto and Zedd — just to name a few. Providing the ultimate in nightlife experience, LIV Nightclub will serve as TomorrowWorld’s official Comfort (VIP) partner and host of the LIV Sky Loft, featuring premium views of the Main Stage, bottle service, and upgraded amenities.

EOTO Kicks Off ‘Outer Orbit’ Tour Loaded With New Visuals

591c4319-e989-48e7-a8dd-891b234ccb27
EOTO just announced their fall tour dates including theater performances throughout the Midwest and Southeast through November of 2014. These pioneers of live EDM improvisation will hit the road armed with the latest musical and visual technology. They continue to add to their mesmerizing audio setup that pushes the boundaries between musical instruments and computer software all the while blurring the lines between studio production and live performance.

Celebrated for their incredible audio and visual production, EOTO ranked in the top three best stage productions of 2013 with the likes of Deadmau5 and Skrillex, in Ultra Music Magazine last fall and will undoubtedly outdo themselves in 2014. Their visuals continue to elaborate on 3D projection mapping and break technical barriers with the addition of their unique, “paint the sky”, laser mapping. The landmark light production was designed and developed specifically for EOTO in order to create an extraterrestrial atmosphere that will engulf the crowd in such a way that even large outdoor performances feel capsulized in visual/audio bliss.

With Michael Travis and Jason Hann holding the reins, EOTO continues to lead the way for a blossoming genre of electronic music – live and improvised EDM. Locked and loaded with hi-tech equipment, software, and the latest computer and musical technology, multi-instrumentalist Travis and percussionist/vocalist Hann have made a startling impact on the electronic dance community, due to their innovative 100% improvised approach and as a result, their exclusive sound.

With influences that range from Tipper, to Derrick Carter and Bassnectar; the project aims to produce a fresh take on EDM by incorporating live looping, instruments, drums, vocals, and live remixing on stage. This allows the duo to remain fluid in their approach while retaining a lucid otherworldly flare. With over 800 improvised performances under their belt, the band has consistently reinvented their style and approach in the ever changing landscape of the EDM culture – leaving no two performances alike in their wake.

EOTO will hit the road for their fall tour beginning in August with an arsenal of ear-and-eye-candy specially blended for their transcendental performances. For ticketing and EOTO’s latest tour information, check out the official website at www.eotomusic.com.
